Description
Debating provides hands-on experience speaking on important issues. Students collaborate with teammates, building a supportive group of friends that share similar interests. All students are encouraged to participate regardless of experience or major. With supportive coaching, our program builds communication skills, allowing students to take on new challenges and accomplish the goals they want to achieve. The SU debate team has won dozens of awards in the past five years.
Donations to the Debate Team will be used to help students achieve academic excellence by providing students with small grants to cover some expenses they might have when competing. Any donations will allow students to take full advantage of these exciting and educational opportunities.
