Description

The MOSAIC Center creates Meaningful Opportunity for Student Access, Inclusion, and Community at Seattle University. The MOSAIC Center is invested in the growth and thriving of all students with a particular focus on supporting students from historically underrepresented and minoritized backgrounds. By contributing to the MOSAIC Center, you are partnering with us in our efforts to enhance a sense of belonging and expand community support resources for our students.

First-Gen, Pell-eligible, low-income student support

As Seattle University continues to attract a more diverse student body each year, the number of first-generation, Pell-eligible, and low-income students on our campus grows as well. Opening the doors to college is only the first step in our shared commitment to improving access to higher education. The important steps that follow are ensuring that the programs, resources, and structures necessary to support the students through graduation exist. The MOSAIC Center is one of the places on campus committed to growing and sharpening our programmatic and service resources to meet our students' dynamic needs. Here’s how your gift can support students:

Donations are applied to...

  • $50 creates finals study kits for 20 students
  • $100 covers the programming supplies for National First-Gen Day
  • $250 supports a monthly community lunch & learn program
  • $500 provides registration fee waivers for 10 students to participate in CLP+
  • $1000 supports the revamp of a peer mentorship program for first-gen students

Why are donations necessary?

We believe learning and growth happens in community. These experiences contribute to an inclusive campus community where everyone feels that they belong.
