A Message from Coach Woodward

Seattle University Women’s Soccer is stepping into a new era of competition and opportunity as we join the West Coast Conference. This conference will elevate our program and provide our student athletes with an elite platform for success. This transition marks a bold step forward, reinforcing our commitment to excellence, player development, and national recognition.

For the past two decades, your support has built a championship-winning program, elite athletes and future leaders. Former Redhawks have become coaches, attorneys, police officers, doctors, nurses, teachers, scientists, mothers, and civic leaderscontinuing the legacy of excellence that defines Seattle U Women’s Soccer.

Now, as we take on top-tier competition in the WCC, we need your support to continue this winning tradition and ensure our program thrives at the highest level.

Please help us to….

Compete Against the Best – The WCC is home to national powerhouses like Santa Clara (2020 NCAA Champions) and Pepperdine, providing our student athletes with elite-level matchups that prepare them for championship play.
Enhance Recruiting – Moving to one of the most prestigious soccer conferences in the country will help us attract and develop top-tier talent, ensuring Seattle U remains a force in collegiate soccer.
Create Greater National Exposure – The WCC consistently sends teams to the NCAA Tournament, increasing visibility and prestige for Seattle U and our athletes.

Since 2013, Seattle U Women’s Soccer has dominated, winning 11 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championships while earning numerous all-conference and all-region honors. With this move to the WCC, we are ready to take that success to the next level—but we can’t do it alone.

Your continued support will allow us to:

    • Build a highly competitive schedule against nationally ranked, top-tier soccer programs
    • Recruit elite student-athletes who excel on the field and in the classroom
    • Provide an unparalleled Redhawk experience that creates Redhawks for life

Our current players give everything to this program, just as our alumni continue to make a difference long after their playing days. Help us keep the tradition alive and invest in the future of Seattle University Women’s Soccer as we embark on this exciting new chapter.

Go Redhawks!
