For roughly 25 years, students from all over Seattle University who've been challenged by their accounting classes have made the pilgrimage to a modest but important room at the Pigott Building: The Albers Accounting Lab on the fifth floor.
In this room, talented and knowledgeable accounting majors offer accounting tutoring services, absolutely free, to any Seattle U student. Sign sheets from the Accounting Lab show tutoring was provided to students not just from Albers, but from the College of Nursing, College of Science & Engineering, and even alumni from other Jesuit schools.
Any student is free to drop in at the lab to study, receive tutoring, and network with accounting peers. The room has many of the textbooks used in class and is in close proximity to faculty.
Your contribution through Seattle U Gives supports technology upgrades as well as additional hours for tutoring. This ensures that the Accounting Lab continues to provide the high-quality, free tutoring that many Seattle U students, grappling with accounting, have always depended on.
