Seattle University College of Education has a long and distinguished history of preparing ethical and reflective leaders who are making systemic changes from the classroom to the boardroom. The College’s nine academic program areas offer graduate degrees that prepare students for careers in K-12 schools (requiring state certification) and Non-K-12 areas.
Recently, the College of Education added two pathways to a bachelor’s degree in K-8 education through a collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences. These pathways enable undergraduates to earn a Washington state elementary teaching credential in addition to an ELL endorsement, making it easier for teachers to get into a classroom.
