Where purpose meets business
For over 70 years, Albers has strongly believed in making business a driver of positive social change. One way it has executed on this vision is by granting scholarships to deserving students who may not have the means to support their education.
Your donation to any of these three funds helps ensure that our students continue to have the financial support and resources they need.
ALBERS DEAN'S FUND
A flexible support fund that allows Albers Dean Joe Phillips to respond to emerging needs, support student clubs, implement technology upgrades, allow faculty to attend conferences and students to participate in business competitions when the world recovers from the pandemic.
It also acts as a 'last mile' scholarship to help students who are in the last push towards graduating and need financial assistance.
ALBERS ALUMNI ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP
A fund created over 18 years ago by a group of committed Albers alumni when the Albers Alumni Crab Feed was born. It provides scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in all Albers programs.
Over the years, more than 75 students have received scholarships from this fund, thanks to the generosity of many alumni and friends of Albers.
KOCH'S RISING STAR SCHOLARSHIP
A scholarship endowment fund created in 2020 by an appreciative alumna who wanted to honor and recognize former Accounting department chair Bruce Koch for his exemplary teaching and demonstration of 'care for the whole person'.
Other alumni and friends have joined in to support this effort. The fund provides scholarships to deserving Albers Accounting students in perpetuity. Bruce Koch is an Emeriti Faculty member, having taught in Albers from 2003 through 2019, and serving as the Accounting Chair for eight years.
DONATE $100 OR MORE AND JOIN AN EXCLUSIVE ZOOM COOKING CLASS WITH ALBERS ASSOCIATE DEAN, MADHU RAO
