OMA Food Security Initiative

Continuing the Tradition of Action

In the winter of 2018, the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) was tasked to support and amplify SU's Food Security Initiative -- a three-part program that offers tangible support for our students experiencing hunger and food insecurity. The foundation of this work was built by student leaders within the Gender Justice Center. We are grateful to continue the work these students started.

Your gift today can resource key components of our Food Security Initiative, which include:

  • Stocking the SU Food Pantry
  • Funding Emergency Redhawk Dining Cards
  • Creating opportunities for education and advocacy about issues of hunger and economic disparities on college campuses

We hope you will join us in resourcing our students to support their thriving at Seattle University.
