Questions and Answers

Below you will find answers to many common questions about Seattle U Gives.

What is Seattle U Gives?

This is the second online giving day for Seattle U. As a community, the goal is to come together for 1891 (our founding year) minutes of online giving that will impact students at Seattle U.

When is Seattle U Gives?

Seattle U Gives will begin at 9:30 AM on February 1, 2018 and end on February 2, 2018 at 5:01 PM.

Why should someone give today?

While any day is a great day to give back to students, this online giving day is special because we are striving to reach a goal. In order to reach our participation goal we are matching gifts to increase the impact of your giving.

What if someone gives twice?

That’s great! You can still take advantage of the matching gift opportunities within each fund/area of support. Our Seattle U Gives website allows you to add multiple funds/areas of support to your shopping cart before payment by credit card. However, we will count donors only once toward our participation goal of 750 donors.

Can someone give through the mail?

Yes, gifts that are postmarked by Feb 3rd and specify ‘Seattle U Gives’ will be counted toward our overall goal and final numbers.

What about over the phone?

We would love to hear from you. During Seattle U Gives please call (206) 296-6301 to make your gift.

Can I make a gift in person?

Yes, we will be at Redfest (Feb 1st) starting at 1 PM in the Quad. Gifts may also be taken to Advancement Services in ADMN 305B.
