The Seattle University Food Security Initiatives operate within the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA). Students who are hungry have difficulty learning and focusing on their educational and professional goals. Supporting the Food Security Initiatives provide food directly to students through the food pantry, facilitate educational programs such as cooking classes and nutrition workshops, and supplement dining cards for use in campus dining facilities.
$25 provides a day of meals for a student experiencing food insecurity through the food pantry
$50 supports groceries for a student
$100 covers the cost of educational programming like cooking demonstrations
$800 supports the restocking of the Seattle U Food Pantry housed in OMA for three weeks
