International Studies

The International Studies BA is an interdisciplinary program where students gain both the contemporary and historical understanding of global cultures, languages, economics, and politics, which allow them to acquire critical skills for successful work in globalized and other culturally diverse settings. 

The International Studies program is unique because of 

Donations to the International Studies program will help improve students’ ability to gain hands-on experience locally and abroad. The funds would help cover study abroad expenses (i.e., air fare, program fees, etc.), especially for those students that haven’t had the opportunity to travel abroad before. Funds could also cover stipends for students to work as research assistants in SU faculty-led international research projects.
