OMA Emergency Fund
Cultivating Community Care

We understand that unexpected events and circumstances arise that create temporary and pressing financial needs in our students’ lives. The COVID-19 pandemic has also exacerbated financial challenges for our students. Thanks to the generosity of corporate and individual donors, OMA is able to provide support to SU students through emergency financial assistance to SU students experiencing one-time, non-tuition related financial emergencies. The OMA Emergency Fund aims to alleviate sudden and critical financial barriers that disrupt students’ ability to focus on their education.

Your gift today can support critical needs such as: rent and utilities, medical expenses, technology, and transportation.

$25 provides transportation to campus for a week

$50 supports groceries on or off campus

$250 covers the cost of books or course supplies

$750 supports a student with repairing or replacing damaged technology

$1200 supports a student with one month’s rent and utilities

We hope you’ll join us in cultivating community care for our students by giving today.
